A visionary product design and innovation leader, with over 25 years experience scaling design and innovation capabilities and creative talent with in-house and consulting teams. This background spans PE backed, growth stage and global organizations including creating design and innovation teams from the ground up, as well as scaling and optimizing established innovation capabilities in mature organizations. I love inspiring and demonstrating how great design and innovation can drive businesses success, as a specialist in vision creation, design storytelling, innovation and product design, demonstrated across global portfolios of market leading brands including Hoover, Vax, Morphy Richard’s, Werner, Knaack, WeatherGuard, and Zarges. Priviledged to have led the design and innovation teams to uncover new categories leading to robust product roadmaps, and creating innovative products, pioneering Worlds firsts that have earned significant revenue and profit increases.

I’m honored to have starved as a trustee of the Chartered Society of Designers, the Worlds largest multidisciplinary design society supporting designers across all stages of their careers. My career spans design leadership at Techtronic Industries, R&D in highlight technical industries and Deasign Engineering for Kitchen Appliances, and even manufacturing engineered enclosures for London Underground systems. .

Throughout my career, a passion for lifelong learning has shaped capabilities in turning customer insights into to practical, profitable, and differentiated solutions even in legacy industries. This in turn has led to the ability to craft exciting new product portfolios, categories, and product/technology roadmaps. With a deep appreciation for balancing creative and practical solutions, whilst inspiring new thinking, I help drive businesses and teams to deliver long term value creation. These systems and outcomes across the brands I have supported have resulted in recognition as one of the Worlds best Workplace for Innovators, and Innovation by design honors from FastCompany in addition one of New Design Magazines top 100 products, Plus X design awards, and many industry design and innovation awards and accolades globally.

I also enjoy hands-on design, environments design that fosters creativity and collaboration, and can roll up my sleeves to build things, generate concepts and bring donuts. I also paint, mostly acrylic on canvas.
